Back of House / Kitchen Team Member – Help Open the Newest Satchmo’s Concept in Munds Park!

Satchmo’s is opening a new location in Munds Park!  This will be the newest addition to the Satchmo’s Family of Culinary concepts, and we are looking for kitchen team members who want to be part of building something from the ground up.

This is not just another restaurant job! This is a chance to get in early, help shape a new kitchen, and be part of bringing something exciting to Munds Park. We are looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in doing things right, staying sharp under pressure, being an active member of a team, and helping create a kitchen to be proud of.

Our Munds Park location will serve guests through multiple parts of the day, so we need people who can stay organized, move with purpose, and keep the kitchen flowing from prep to service to close. This role may include prep, cooking, slicing, stocking, plating, expo support, dish, and cleaning depending on the shift.

One of the best parts of this opportunity is being part of a new restaurant in an engaging environment. Along with day-to-day kitchen work, this team may also have opportunities to support special local events, seasonal activity, and community events in Munds Park. What you’ll do:

  •  Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards 
  •  Help set up, stock, and maintain stations for service 
  •  Support kitchen production throughout different service periods 
  •  Assist with prep, slicing, replenishment, plating, and general kitchen flow 
  •  Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organized 
  •  Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times 
  •  Jump in on dish, cleaning, opening, and closing duties as needed 
  •  Communicate clearly and work well with the team during busy shifts 
What we’re looking for:

  •  Kitchen, prep cook, line cook, or restaurant experience preferred 
  •  Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Strong work ethic and attention to detail 
  •  Dependability and consistency 
  •  A team-first attitude and willingness to cross-train 
  •  Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds 
  •  Food handler certification
